CYUSA Asaph is a certified smart contracts engineer with over four years of hands-on experience designing and deploying blockchain solutions for both African-focused and global use cases. His work spans a wide range of decentralized technologies, from enterprise-grade applications to community-driven projects, demonstrating a unique ability to bridge innovation with real-world impact.

Asaph has collaborated with government institutions on pioneering blockchain initiatives, contributing technical expertise and regulatory insight to projects that shape the future of digital assets. A passionate educator, he has introduced countless Rwandans to blockchain technology covering platforms such as Near Protocol, Solana, Ethereum, Arbitrum, and more. He has trained many aspiring developers in smart contract programming.

Beyond engineering and education, Asaph has played a vital role in Rwanda’s blockchain ecosystem. He co-founded the Rwandan Blockchain Association, and has co-organized multiple blockchain events and workshops that foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Today, Asaph is especially proud to serve on the Organizing Committee of the Africa Blockchain Festival, a continental event celebrating innovation, policy, and the transformative power of decentralized technologies.
